launch a career in ux

about the ux program

This course will cover the steps of a general UX (user experience) design process: strategy, research, design and user testing. You will learn about a day in the role of a UX designer, how a solid UX strategy can increase an organization’s values in the long term, and how your product can provide a functional and enjoyable experience for users.

The program is approximately 31 hours of coursework and flows at a pace determined by each individual participant. To get the most from the experience, this course is designed to be completed over 12 weeks, with approximately 2-3 hours of study per week.

Students will also have the option of participating in professional development sessions over zoom, and connecting with Skills for Hire teaching assistants over slack. Find out more about our Skills for Hire professional development here.
