About the Data Analytics & AI Program

In this 8-week online, blended-learning program with live sessions, you will advance your technical expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, cloud platforms, and applied AI. With just a computer and a reliable internet connection, you’ll gain hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Power BI, and machine learning workflows—building the applied skills needed to move toward mid-level data and AI roles. You’ll complete interactive labs, practical assignments, and a capstone project that mirrors real-world data challenges, guided by experienced Teaching Assistants. The curriculum—developed by AI-First Consulting in collaboration with Atlantic Canadian employers—ensures every module reflects in-demand industry skills. Participants will also connect with mentors and industry leaders through virtual panels and networking sessions, strengthening their professional confidence and understanding of the region’s digital landscape. This program is ideal for motivated learners who enjoy online learning, have prior foundational experience, and can dedicate 12+ hours per week to study.

What you will learn

Master advanced SQL, Python, and cloud fundamentals to build efficient data pipelines and workflows. Learn data governance, optimization, and automation using modern engineering tools and practices.

Develop advanced BI dashboards with Power BI and Tableau, and apply machine learning models to real business problems. Gain practical skills in analytics, model evaluation, and MLOps for reliable deployment.

Explore generative AI through prompt engineering, RAG systems, and agentic workflows. Apply everything you’ve learned in a capstone project that demonstrates mid-level readiness and real-world problem solving.

Program Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and have completed a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. You must also be a resident of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, or Prince Edward Island, and demonstrate the technical prerequisites required to succeed in a mid-level training program.
