launch a career in web design

about the web design program

The first step to creating effective websites is to learn the coding languages that tell a browser what to display on a user’s screen. Our learning path covers HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and front-end web design and development basics. Through this program you will become fluent in coding languages and learning to create custom-built websites and web-based applications.

The program is approximately 50 hours of coursework and flows at a pace determined by each individual participant. To get the most from the experience, this course is designed to be completed within 12 weeks, about 4-5 hours per week.

Students will also have the option of participating in professional development sessions over zoom, and connecting with Skills for Hire teaching assistants over slack. Find out more about our Skills for Hire professional development here.
